On Sunday mornings, I typically rise at 9am and immediately go to church for mass at 10am. Our home is located by the Tuscan coast in Forte dei Marmi, and our church is conveniently nearby, so I often walk there. Skipping church is not an option for me as it is the day dedicated to the Lord.
What happens next? I return around noon and then my family and I will have lunch together. We all adhere to a strict and healthy diet – even on Sundays, there is no special food being served. We are Italian, so there will be pasta, but now it is made with ancient grains and lower gluten content. After that, I will relax and work on my music – studying, singing, and playing the piano, as I do every day.
Do you have cooking skills? Absolutely not. I attempted it in my youth but it didn’t turn out well. Occasionally, I may cook for my friends. I can successfully make carbonara, but anything else seems like an unnecessary risk for both myself and my guests.
As a child, Sundays were spent attending church with my grandmother and playing the organ. I also enjoyed spending time with friends in the countryside, often getting into mischief. My favorite moments were when I would pursue girls and have successful romantic pursuits. However, obtaining dates was not always a simple task.
Do you engage in physical activity? No, I am quite inactive. Typically, I only participate in activities that I find enjoyable, and that does not include working out at the gym. However, I am a fan of football, but strictly as a spectator. Our team is Inter Milan, and I have been a devoted fan since childhood. Nowadays, I watch games with my children.
What activities do you do to unwind? When I have free time, I enjoy reading or having friends over. Another hobby of mine is playing chess, mostly through online platforms. I’m not particularly skilled, but I’m constantly working on improving. On nice days, I may also go for a ride on one of my horses.
Is it Sunday evening? If I have a concert, I will be on stage. As a singer, the day of the week is not relevant. Otherwise, I go to bed early, usually by 10pm. I am not a fan of staying up late. As for my bedtime routine… I will let you imagine that.
