Billy Wright played as a centre-back for Wolves throughout his entire career, making 490 appearances, and also earned 105 caps for England. Following his passing in 1994, Wright’s ashes were spread on the Molineux pitch, and a bronze statue was erected outside the stadium two years later. This took place at Molineux in Wolverhampton.
