Iga Swiatek has once again emerged victorious at the Indian Wells competition, beating ninth seed Maria Sakkari from Greece with a score of 6-4, 6-0. This marks her second WTA 1000 title of the year, following her victory in Doha last month. The 22-year-old Polish player’s total number of titles has now risen to 19, including eight WTA 1000 events and four grand slam titles. She also achieved her first WTA Finals win last year.
