Tommy Lee, the drummer of Mötley Crüe, has been accused of committing sexual assault.

Tommy Lee, the drummer for Mötley Crüe, has been accused of committing sexual assault in 2003.

A recently filed civil lawsuit, reported by Rolling Stone, claims that Stan Lee, identified as Jane Doe, forcibly touched, kissed, and penetrated her with his fingers, and attempted to coerce her into performing oral sex. The woman had been invited on a helicopter ride by pilot David Martz with the expectation of a sightseeing tour in San Diego, but was instead informed they would be flying with Lee to Los Angeles.

According to the lawsuit, Lee purportedly asked her to join him in the cockpit, where he proceeded to assault her. The plaintiff was reportedly distraught and felt trapped since she had limited ability to leave the cockpit. She claimed that both Martz and Lee consumed alcohol and drugs during the flight.

The legal case identifies Mayhem Touring, Tommy Lee Inc, A Natural High Helicopters, and Social Helicopters as the accused parties. None of them have responded to the accusations. The plaintiff is requesting compensation for damages. She stated that she did not report the incident before because she did not think the police would take her case seriously and that it was a one-time occurrence. However, she now believes that Martz and Lee had a pattern of participating in inappropriate and unlawful behavior on Martz’s helicopter.

In 2015, Martz passed away due to a plane crash while he was piloting. In 2009, he was arrested for potentially flying while under the influence, but the results of a sobriety test were inconclusive. He had his pilot’s license revoked three times, one instance being when he engaged in oral sex with an adult film actress while flying a helicopter.

In 1998, Lee was imprisoned for six months due to physically attacking his wife, Pamela Anderson.

Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard recently concluded a co-headlining tour, with Mötley Crüe’s performance being criticized as “vulgar and lackluster” in a review by The Guardian.
