Daniil Medvedev, who was heavily defeated by Carlos Alcaraz on Friday, may be relieved to not have to face Djokovic in the semifinals. Prior to their match, Medvedev had been playing exceptionally well. The prize at stake is a spot in the final, with Sinner vying for his first ATP Finals win and Medvedev hoping to defend his 2020 victory.
