Lewis, aged 38 and hailing from London, began her performance training at the young age of six. Following her victory on The X Factor, she introduced her debut album, Spirit, in 2007. Her single Bleeding Love topped the charts in 35 countries and was the best-selling song of 2008 worldwide. In 2009, she lent her vocals to I See You, the theme song for the film Avatar. This year marks the 10th anniversary of her holiday album, Christmas, With Love, which includes her popular festive tune One More Sleep. I have a tendency to prioritize others’ desires over my own, which can be detrimental to my own well-being at times.

What is the least attractive habit you have?
I used to do it frequently, but now I don’t do it as often. I take strands of my hair and wrap them around my lip, which is quite odd.

Having regrets.

Jason Momoa.
Which book do you regret not having read?
I am not well-versed in English literature, so I probably won’t understand all of them. However, I do enjoy reading self-improvement books.
What was your dream career as a child?
A singer.
What is the most negative comment someone has made towards you?
During my youth, outside of London, I experienced a memorable incident while riding bikes. An older girl made a racist remark that I refuse to repeat. This stuck with me because it was a defining moment where I realized I was different from those around me.
How does love feel?
Unselfish and welcoming, liberating.
Have you ever expressed love insincerely?
I only speak the truth.
What words or phrases do you tend to use excessively?
I frequently use the word “like.” On occasion, when I hear myself, I realize that I just used it multiple times. I seem to have a habit of using it!
What is the most unpleasant job you have ever had?
I really liked my experiences in retail, specifically at H&M and Gap. However, the most challenging times were during sale periods, particularly the summer sales.
What would you alter if you had the ability to edit your past?
I would advise myself to stop worrying so much.
Who would you want to be if not yourself?
I would be curious to experience life as a man, and observe how I would be treated differently.
What prevents you from sleeping at night?
Reflecting on the impact of current wars on innocent children.
What is the most significant lesson that you have learned from life?
There are no guarantees and circumstances can change suddenly. It is important to adapt to this and remain present.
