A person has been charged with murder after a woman was found dead in a luxurious hotel room at Crown Towers in Perth.


A male individual has been accused of committing murder in connection with the demise of a female who was discovered deceased in a high-end hotel room within the casino area of Perth.

Emergency responders were summoned to Crown Towers, located east of the Perth CBD, around 11am on Monday. They discovered the body of a woman in her 30s.

The police in WA reported that a man in his 40s was discovered in the room with severe self-inflicted wounds.

He was apprehended and transported to Royal Perth Hospital for medical care.

On Tuesday, the police reported that detectives from the homicide squad had arrested and charged a 42-year-old man from Bibra Lake with murder. He is scheduled to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
