Murray’s determination paid off in a demanding opening match at the Miami Open, where he battled back from being a set behind to defeat Matteo Berrettini 4-6, 6-3, 6-4. This win marks Murray’s fourth for the year and he will now face Tomás Martín Etcheverry in the second round.
Berrettini was about to serve in the second set, but he became unsteady and stumbled to the right. He almost fell down and then complained of feeling dizzy. He was promptly attended to by a doctor and a physio, but even though he was cleared to continue, he was unable to return to his previous level of play.
