According to authorities, a female has been taken into custody for suspicion of committing murder when a 10-year-old girl’s body was discovered at a residence in the West Midlands.
Police officers went to a location on Robin Close in Rowley Regis around 12:10pm on Monday and discovered a child who was injured. Sadly, the girl was declared dead at the location.
A female, believed to have a connection with the girl, was apprehended and placed in custody for further interrogation, according to West Midlands authorities.
Officer Dan Jarratt stated that there will be a visible presence of officers in the vicinity. He also expressed condolences to the family and loved ones of the young girl who tragically passed away, and to all those affected by this heartbreaking event.
