69 min Spurs’ umpteenth corner is headed away by McTominay, who may be out there partly to do just that. It falls to Skipp, whose rasping shot is deflected just wide.

Neville believes that United has a chance to win the game, but acknowledges that the away team is stronger even with some key players absent. This is true for both teams.

In the 66th minute, Hojlund passes to Rashford, but two defenders from Spurs effectively stop him.

In the 65th minute of the game, Udogie falls in the penalty area after being pushed by Garnacho. However, neither the referee nor the VAR consider it to be a foul.

After playing for 63 minutes, Jonny Evans is substituted by Lisandro Martinez. The crowd starts singing “Argentina,” resembling the chorus from Evita at the Curve in Leicester.

After 62 minutes, Wan-Bissaka is making a move forward. He passes the ball to McTominay, who takes a shot that narrowly misses the goal. The smarter move would have been to pass to Garnacho, who was open on the right side.

After 61 minutes, Dalot successfully passes to Garnacho on the right side, but Van de Ven makes a perfect tackle.

At the 60-minute mark, United is awarded a corner kick, which is taken by Fernandes, but it goes over everyone without causing any danger. Shortly after, Spurs also get a corner kick, but Varane successfully heads it away.

After 58 minutes, the Spurs were awarded their eighth corner, but Evans was able to clear it with a header. Their ninth corner led to a volley opportunity for Werner, but he missed the target. In response, McTominay substituted for Eriksen, indicating a shift towards a more aggressive playing style for United and less focus on artistic plays.

In the first 57 minutes of the game, the Spurs have controlled 78% of the possession. Ten Hag is making changes to address this, but he has not called for Casemiro yet. Instead, Scott McTominay is preparing to enter the game.

In the 55th minute, Fernandes heads away Porro’s free kick, resulting in another corner kick for Spurs.

Werner, after being lifted by his assist, earns a corner kick on the left side. The ball is partially cleared, but Tottenham Hotspur regains possession and advances towards the goal. Richarlison, with plenty of space, takes a shot but it is saved by the goalkeeper. “Spurs have made a strong start to the second half,” remarks Gary Neville.

Fifty minutes into the game, the Spurs make another threatening move as Johnson reaches the edge of the field and delivers a well-executed cross that is skillfully headed away by Dalot. United’s midfield still seems to be lacking, leaving room for Casemiro to fill the gap.

5 hour limit

We have reached the halfway point of the 4-4.5 hour limit, which is 49 minutes.

Cristian Romero devised the objective, using a lengthy pass from the right to the left to exploit United’s defense. Skipp passed to Werner, who then located Bentancur making a sneaky run into the penalty area, reminiscent of Martin Peters. Jonny Evans hesitated, and Bentancur powered a left-footed shot into the net, beyond Onana’s reach.

This is ridiculous.

Tottenham Hotspur's Rodrigo Bentancur (R) shoots to score their second goal.

Rashford scored his sixth goal against Spurs in 14 Premier League matches and his first in 15 games at Old Trafford. This puts him ahead of a renowned scorer for Manchester United…

It’s time to check the mail again. Column Fordham believes the first half was filled with mistakes, but also had some impressive goals. Richarlison is standing out for Spurs, but Timo Werner’s weak shots are reminiscent of Denis Healey’s comparison of Geoffrey Howe to a dead sheep. However, it’s worth noting that Howe eventually brought down Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

Unfortunately, I have been too busy to respond to mailbag inquiries lately. However, I do have a story that my previous news editor referred to as a pleasant anecdote. According to Kári Tulinius, a few years ago, while traveling in rural Iceland, he stopped for lunch in a small town with only one restaurant. To his surprise, the restaurant had been rented out by Jim Ratcliffe to feed his crew during their salmon fishing trip.

“We were informed that the only option for lunch in the nearby area was a petrol station that offered hamburgers. As a non-meat eater, I was disappointed. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they had delicious veggie burgers made with their own unique patty recipe and unexpected, flavorful ingredients.”

There is only one league match scheduled for Manchester United this month, but it is an important one. We have already seen three weekends’ worth of action. In the third minute, United gained the lead with a goal from Rasmus Hojlund, who has shown significant improvement and expertly placed the ball into the top bin. However, Spurs took control of the midfield and earned several corners, eventually scoring from one through Richarlison’s skilled header. Despite this, United managed to score a comeback goal against the flow of the game, with Marcus Rashford displaying the same type of goal he frequently scored last season – a precise shot into the far corner.

United is currently ahead at half-time during their home game for the first time this season in the league. It is uncertain if they will be able to maintain their lead until the end of the game.

In the 45th minute plus 2, there was a great opportunity for Romero as he used his head to make contact with the corner. He threw himself at the ball and unfortunately hit the crossbar. Shortly after, there was another shot from a different player that narrowly missed the goal. In the meantime, there was a bit of a scuffle between Romero and Hojlund at the opposite end, resulting in Hojlund receiving a yellow card.

After 45 minutes and 2 minutes, there is a corner for Spurs! It would be typical for United to give up another goal at this point.

After 45 minutes, United earns a corner on the left side, bringing the score to 5-4 in their favor. The ball goes towards the D and Fernandes takes a shot, but it ends up in Row X.

In 45 minutes, there will be an additional three minutes added.

In the 44th minute, Rashford had a chance to score but made the wrong choice by cutting back onto his right foot instead of using his left. At the other end, Werner also had a chance but missed the target with his left foot.

In the span of 43 minutes, United has successfully scored two shots on goal, while Tottenham has had four attempts, with three being lackluster.

The goal scored after 42 minutes was unexpected based on the current flow of the game.

Rashford has officially regained his form. He aggressively entered the penalty box, executed a one-two with Hojlund, skillfully evaded two or three defenders, and calmly placed the ball into the far corner.

Back in front!

Manchester United's Marcus Rashford, right, scores his side's second goal.

After 39 minutes, the Spurs team hit their own goalpost. Udogie attempted to use his head to clear Rashford’s cross, but almost scored an own goal in the process. The header was actually very well executed.
