Aryna Sabalenka secured her second consecutive Australian Open championship by defeating Zheng Qinwen 6-3, 6-2. She becomes the first woman since Victoria Azarenka in 2012 and 2013 to achieve back-to-back wins at the tournament, and the fifth since 2000 to do so without losing a set. Following her triumph, Sabalenka shared that she has altered her mindset and approach to tennis, stating “since last year, I have changed my mentality and approach to the sport…I focus on working hard on the court, but off the court, I try to leave my tennis life behind.”
